I have been working as a counsellor/ psychotherapist with children, young people and adults for nearly 10 years. I am based in Ashford, Kent offering face-to-face sessions, as well as online/telephone sessions for those that would prefer remote therapy. I work as an in integrative therapist, meaning I draw upon several approaches to therapy, using the most appropriate approach for the client at that particular moment. Therapeutic models I use include:
- Psychodynamic theory
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Person-centred theory
- Mindfulness
- Existentialism
- Creative Therapy – Sandtray, clay, paints, pens, etc. (For those that are interested in expressing in alternative ways)
Though I do draw from these approaches, I feel it is important to communicate that I am interested in supporting a greater understanding of how you feel about the experiences that you will be bringing to therapy. With awareness can come understanding, and with understanding can come choice.
The services that I offer include Personal Therapy and Counselling Supervision.
Counselling allows you a space to explore yourself, without judgement. Check out more information on the What is counselling page.
