It is important to know what sort of credentials a counsellor has. This helps you find a counsellor you trust, because you can be sure that the counsellor follows a high standards of safe and ethical practice.

Qualifications completed

  • BSc (Honours) Degree in Psychology (First Class) (The Open University)
  • Foundation Degree in Counselling (The Open University)
  • Level 6 Diploma in Counselling Supervision
  • Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic counselling (Integrative)
  • Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
  • Awareness in Bereavement Care – Cruse Bereavement Care. Additional training for Working with Children and Young People

Qualifications ongoing

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills (APAC/ Leeds Beckett University) (Provisional certificate of completion received)
  • Masters in Psychology (The Open University)
